Chequered Tee : This style is designed for an oversized fit with a generous cut through the body and drop shoulder sleeves.
- We recommend taking your normal size to achieve an oversized look.
- If you prefer a classic boxy fit, you can size down one to two sizes.

FABRIC
plastic free / 100% Fair Trade Organic Cotton
Organic, Fairtrade, certified cotton forms the base of Kowtow garments along with a considered collection of trims and buttons chosen for their natural and recyclable nature, making Kowtow garments completely plastic-free. Our organic cotton is grown using non-genetically modified seeds, sans harmful chemicals.
STORAGE
To keep Kowtow knitwear in top condition, fold rather than hang to avoid stretching and be mindful of rough surfaces or jewellery that could snag the fabric. Store away from direct sunlight to avoid fading.
WASHING
To ensure longevity and minimise the impact on the environment, we recommend only washing your garment when necessary - air or steam to refresh between wears.
All Kowtow cotton knits can be machine washed on a cool delicate cycle, we recommend washing inside out separately to avoid any snags. Take care with the setting on your washing machine, as knitwear/wool cycles may be set at a higher temperature than recommended. A ‘delicates’ bag is a great idea for finer knits or top loaders, as lighter garments can get stretched out of shape due to the agitator's arm.
To remove excess water from your knitwear, simply place it on a clean towel and gently roll it up. Never hang dry, the best option is to dry your knits flat on a rack in the shade, taking care to ensure the garment is not stretched.
Due to the nature of knitwear, the stitches may tighten up after washing. Your knitwear will eventually relax back with regular wear, steaming, or with your body warmth. And yes, you can warm iron the reverse of our knits.
