NZ Shipping

Free shipping on all NZ orders over $150.

Local Auckland delivery on orders under $150 is $8.

NZ North Island delivery on orders under $150 is $10.

NZ South Island and Rural Delivery on orders under $150 is $15.

International Shipping

Australia free shipping on all orders over $250.

Australia delivery on orders under $250 is $30.

Rest Of The World free shipping on orders over $350.

Rest Of The World delivery on orders under $350 is $50.

When you order, the shopping cart automatically presents you with the freight charge depending on what country the items are to be delivered to.

Orders placed will be processed within standard working hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays). All orders received outside of these times will be processed on the following working day.

Any delivery times are an approximate guide only.

Delivery cannot be made to a PO Box number.

Please add 2 – 3 extra days to any delivery times for rural areas.

Shipping charges include a tracking number and insurance. An email will be sent with these details once your order has been placed and accepted.

International ships internationally. Orders are sent by Track & Trace courier services to most countries.
When converting prices to another currency or when an item is charged to a credit card, a slight price variation of between 2 and 5% may occur due to fluctuating exchange rates and credit card company charges. We take no responsibility for charges incurred at receivers end after sending the parcel as this can vary depending on the rules of customs in each country.
Title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

Import Charges

If you are purchasing anything from our website and you live outside of New Zealand please be aware of any import duties and taxes that may be charged on delivery into your country.
These charges depend on your country's import legislation and are not covered by Dalston or
If these taxes are imposed, the approximate delivery time may be affected.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country; contact your local customs office for more information.


If you change your mind about a garment purchased from Dalston, it can be returned or exchanged as long as:

• The item/s are returned within 30 days of receiving it/them
• The item/s must be clean and unworn
• All original tags must be attached with proof of purchase
• Sales of earrings, make-up and skin care products cannot be exchanged or returned due to health regulations

We are also happy to credit or refund the sale.

Once we have received the returned item from you and you would like a refund we’ll refund your purchase price less shipping if your cost of purchase didn't qualify for free shipping.

Garments purchased through Dalston Online can also be exchanged at our Dalston store in Grey Lynn.

Please note that if you are outside of New Zealand and wish for an exchange item to be sent, a postage fee of NZ$30 will apply for Australia and NZ$50 for the rest of the world.

Easy Returns 

To return your item for a refund or exchange please package the garment/s carefully, simply turn your original courier bag inside out, pop your garment/s inside, attach your return label and send the bag track and trace back to us at Dalston, 481 Richmond Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland 1021, New Zealand.

Ways you can do this from within NZ:
• Drop into your local post shop
• Ring Courier Post on 0800 268 743 and let the operator know you have a parcel for collection
• Visit the Courier Post website and request a collection online - click here to do this

Dalston Ltd. endeavours to meet all obligations required by the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Any costs incurred for the return shipping of an item is your responsibility as the customer, unless the garment is faulty or incorrect.

Faulty Garments – Online and Store

We pride ourselves on providing our customers with original and quality pieces. However, occasionally faulty garments slip through unnoticed. In accordance with the Consumer Guarantee’s Act, when a faulty garment is returned to us, accompanied with a proof of purchase, we will repair or replace the item within a reasonable amount of time, before choosing to refund the sale. reserves the right to refuse to provide a refund or exchange if these requirements are not met (except as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act).
Once the product is received and has undergone a quality control check to ensure the product has not been worn and that the tags are still in place, the purchasing amount will be credited to the purchaser's credit card. This will be done within 7 days of receipt of the items.
When providing an exchange of an item, the replacement item will be shipped at no cost to you. Free shipping on an exchange item is only valid for the first exchange of an item. In the event of any further exchanges on the same original purchase, you may be required to pay shipping charges.

If you request a refund the item being refunded will be refunded by the original form of payment.

Any refunds processed to an international credit card will be done using the exchange rate on the day the refund is processed. takes no responsibility for any difference between the refund rate and the rate that the initial purchase was processed at.

Missing Parcels

Make sure you fill in your correct address when ordering from us. We cannot accept responsibility for the wrong address being used with an order. Email us if your garment does not arrive. Our next step will be to lodge an enquiry with the relevant postal service. The postal service will get in touch with you and then will require a response from you. The whole process can take up to 2 months. It is safer if you can have your items delivered when you are present, so provide a secure daytime delivery address where possible. If you do wish to have your parcel delivered without requiring a signature make a note with your order and Dalston accepts no responsibility if the parcel was to go missing from your address.
